Delete your account and data
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This page is for the Anva Personalized AI Learning app on Google Play and the App Store, made by Anvatech Labs PVT LTD. You can delete your account at any time, for free.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the Anva app and sign in with your phone number.
- Go to Profile, then tap Manage Account.
- Under Danger Zone, tap Delete Account.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away, and this can't be undone.
Delete your account by email
If you can't use the app, email [email protected] with the phone number on your account. We'll check that the account is yours, then delete it within 30 days. A parent or guardian can ask for a child's account to be deleted the same way.
Delete some of your data and keep your account
Email [email protected] with the phone number on your account and tell us what you want deleted, such as your doubts and doubt photos, your study progress, or the details on your profile. We'll check that the account is yours, then delete that data within 30 days.
You can also change your details in Profile, under Edit Profile Info, and turn off Share usage analytics in Profile, under Privacy Policy.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: phone number, name, email, school and everything else you added.
- Your studying: watched videos, quiz and flashcard answers, progress, mastery, revision schedule, streaks, goals and saved items.
- Your doubts and the replies you received.
- Your community activity: contributions, reputation, study pairs and referrals.
- Your plan and our record of your payments, notification tokens and support tickets.
What is kept, and for how long
- Doubt photos. These are stored separately and aren't removed automatically when you delete your account. To have them removed, email us before you delete your account, because we can't find them afterwards.
- Payment records. Razorpay, Google Play and Apple keep their own records of your transactions for as long as the law requires.
- Analytics and crash reports. Google Firebase keeps these until they expire under its retention settings. They don't include your name or phone number.
- Backups. Any copy of your data in a server backup is gone when that backup expires.
Deleting your account doesn't give you a refund for time you've already paid for. If you pay through Google Play or the App Store, cancel the subscription there as well. For more, read our privacy policy.
